In this initial project phase, we set up a survey to better identify the needs of the market and the users’ requirements. The EARS survey is addressed to the potential users of a small, low-cost satellite platform, specifically designed to allow the recovery of the payload and to be reusable. The main applications can be: IOD/IOV, scientific experiments in microgravity, in-orbit manufacturing in various sectors, from biotech  to material science, from the pharmaceutical  to the semiconductor industry.
